WHAT IS PLEDGING?
Pledging is the process by which an interested individual becomes a member of the Fraternity
HOW DO I PLEDGE?
Look out for our info events towards the beginning of the fall semester.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Pledge Fee: $75 (paid at the beginning of the pledge term)
$50 goes to nationals, $25 goes to the fraternity to cover costs for pledging (ex: food, supplies for events).
Initiation Fee: $90 (paid before a pledge is initiated)
$75 goes to nationals, $15 goes to the fraternity budget to pay for the initiation event.
Brothers Dues: $75 (paid by all initiated brothers and paid after a pledge is initiated)
$50 goes to nationals, and $25 goes towards the fraternity. We use this money to pay for events such as firm visits, Habitat for Humanity, glass blowing, food, and subsidizing gas for transportation.
*note that these are typical costs that may fluctuate.
HOW LONG DOES PLEDGING LAST?
Pledging takes place over the course of an entire semester – approximately 9 weeks.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN PLEDGING?
Weekly meetings will serve to educate pledges about the fraternity. Aside from these, pledges will participate in educational and group building activities to form strong bonds with other pledges and brothers. Pledging is also an opportunity to evaluate the fraternity to see if you want to join.
